A WINCHESTER-based company has been celebrating its 21st birthday.
The envelope business, Lakesmere, commemorated their milestone last week (January 23).
Lakesmere Group managing director, Mark Davey, said: “The last 21 years have seen many challenges and changes, not least two recessions, and so it is a real privilege to have reached this significant milestone. “The secret of Lakesmere’s success, both past and future, is sustained and controlled growth with the support of its invaluable staff, loyal clients and supply chain partners making Lakesmere the company it is today.”
The New Year looks set to bring the company a number of changes.
In September, the company announced plans for a corporate reorganisation and changes to its board of directors, with the creation of a new parent company, Lakesmere Group Ltd. Five subsidiary companies have also been established; Lakesmere Limited, McMullen Facades Limited, Lakesmere Arabia LLC, Lakesmere Oman LLC and Lakesmere UAE LLC. The changes have been made to formalise Lakesmere’s existing divisional activities through the creation of individual operating companies.
