THE Purple Agency, has a new account director with the appointment of Dom Chudleigh.

His responsibilities include leading the development of Purple’s marketing automation proposition for the firm’s clients.

He joins Purple, based at One Faraday Office Park, in Basingstoke, from specialist digital and marketing automation business ViralJab, where he designed and implemented automated multi-channel marketing strategies for B2B and B2C clients across a range of industry sectors. Commenting on the appointment, data and planning director Andrew Woodger, said: “The links between data and online are creating new disciplines within marketing which require unique skill sets. In a fast moving, multi-channel world we need to be able to help clients engage with their customers and prospects across a range of platforms.

“Not only does Dom understand this link perfectly, he has plenty of direct experience in creating multi-channel solutions which combine data and online in new and exciting ways.”

Dom, who started his career as a graduate trainee at Ogilvy & Mather, said: “In a world where marketing communications are increasing in complexity, clients need solutions which can manage those intricacies and turn them to their advantage. “Purple already has a fine track record of combining data and digital to create award winning campaigns, and my role is to continue to build on that success while adding new combinations into the mix, including automated marketing solutions.”
