A POST office could be set to move location and provide longer hours – including opening on Sundays.
Bursledon Post Office plans to move from its current location on Portsmouth Road to Pilands News Market, on Chamberlayne Road, in Bursledon. The idea is to create a more modern open-plan branch with extended opening hours, shutting at 9pm every night of the week.
This modernisation is part of a major investment programme to convert the Post Office network to new-style branches. The consultation closes on January 24.
