FORE Business networking got into full swing for charity
ONE of the area’s fastest growing business networking groups got into full swing at Basingstoke Golf Club.
The group called FORE Business held its first charity golf day, raising more than £1,500 for REACH – the Association for Children with Upper Limb Deficiency.
The networking group is the brainchild of golfing friends Arron Busst, who is a director of virtual office solutions firm Arbell, based at Vickers Business Centre, in Priestley Road, and Sean Fergusson, managing director of media replication and packaging firm Brandedmedia, based at Lutyens Industrial Centre, in Bilton Road.
Sean said: “We set it up with the aim to bring like-minded business owners together to enjoy a round of golf and forge new business relationships at the same time.”
The idea has certainly paid off as the pair have ambitious plans to roll out a further 14 groups by next April across Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire.
Delighted with the success of the Reach Fore The Masters Golf Charity Day, Sean said: “We’ve plans to support a number of different charities during the various events that we have planned throughout the year.”
