Marie Curie and Shoosmiths Access Legal are teaming up for free wills for the over 55s
MARIE Curie Cancer Care is joining forces with Shoosmiths Access Legal to provide a free will for those over 55.
The Marie Curie Cancer Care Free Wills Scheme, open to those in Basingstoke and the surrounding area, will run from September 1 until November 30.
Will writing specialists at Shoosmiths, based at the firm’s Basing View offices, will give advice and support on a limited first-come, first served basis.
Toni Denyer, legacy advisor for Marie Curie, said: “A will written by a solicitor is the best way to ensure that your family, friends and favourite charities will benefit exactly as you would wish.
“We hope that this campaign will encourage people to use the services of Shoosmiths Access Legal to have a will written, and consider leaving a gift to Marie Curie at the same time.
“The more money we raise for Marie Curie, the more free care the charity can offer, and gifts left in wills can help to ensure these services continue into the future.”
