A HAMPSHIRE-based air traffic control service has been recognised for its support of the military reserve forces.
NATS, which provides air traffic management across the UK and has its headquarters at Whiteley, has been given a special SaBRE award for its support of its reservist employees.
It was one of 13 southern-based companies to be honoured by the South East Reserve Forces and Cadets Association at a reception on board HMS Victory in Portsmouth.
NATS provides air traffic control from centres in Swanwick and Prestwick, Ayrshire as well as at 15 UK airports.
Reserve forces have been involved in operations in places including Afghanistan and other theatres around the world.
