Major revamp for Bishop's Waltham business Major revamp for Bishop's Waltham business

A BISHOP’S Waltham business has undergone a major reorganisation.

Tavcom Training, a security systems training company, has split into three departments.

The company’s award-winning classroom and workshop tuition will continue, lead by director of training Kevin Matthew, who has been promoted from operations director.

Former sales director Paul Tennant has also been promoted to director of newly established Tavcom Academy which will specialise in the development, promotion and provision of worldwide ‘e-learning’ courses.

Finally, consultant Warren Collins has joined Tavcom to spearhead a technical services division offering expertise in risk assessment, product and system testing and security audits.

Mike Tennent, founder and managing director, said: “We realised that to continue our steady growth the moment had come to formalise a pattern that had been slowly emerging and to reorganise the company into three distinct teams, each of which could keep its eye on its own individual ball. “Of course, the scope for cross- pollination will be enormous but now we have three groups, each with a talented leader, and I am sure each will become highly successful in its own right.”
