KINGDON Gerald Ian 1933 – 2015 A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at St. Mary's Church, Kings Worthy, Winchester SO23 7QL on Wednesday 12th August at 1 pm. By request no flowers or mourning but donations, if desired, to 'Gift of Sight'. I want to say how saddened I am to hear of Ian's death, which I have just read about. Ian often came across me, playing the guitar in Winchester High Street, and always had a very welcome - usually gushing - compliment to pay me, which would often make my day. As the notice in the July 23 edition states, he was always erudite and amusing and a wonderful speaker. I would always look forward to seeing him. Regards, Marvin B. Naylor
