FRENCH Lt. Col. (Retd) Robert Dennis MBE Passed away peacefully on 25th August 2014 in Winchester, aged 94. Much loved husband of the late Joan, devoted father of John and the late Paul, loving grandfather to Sid. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. ---------- Funeral Service at St Cross Church, Winchester on Friday 5th September at 10.30am. No flowers please. I am sending a message of condolence for your fathers recent death. I recall how close you were to him and how much you loved him. I see from the notice that your mother has also passed away. I am sure you were a great support to your father in his widowed years. My father died earlier this year too so I know something of the experience you have - and are - having.
