Passed away peacefully on 22nd July, 2005, aged 89. Husband to Cherry and father to Jim, Anny and Teddy. Resident in the Parish of Kings Worthy for 30 years. Worked in the NHS for many years following service in the army and later as Regional Medical Officer in the newly independent Ghana. The funeral has taken place. Aged 77 years, was suddenly taken from us on Tuesday, 26th July, 2005, after a long illness bravely borne. He will be greatly missed by his wife Joyce, daughter Anne, Charlotte, and all his many friends. No longer with us in body, but always with us in spirit. Grateful thanks to the district nurses of Friarsgate Medical Centre and The Gratton, Sutton Scotney. Also to his wonderful GP over many years, Dr. T. Stannard. Funeral service at St. Margaret's Church, South Wonston, on Wednesday, 3rd August at 2.00 pm.
