It is with sad regret that Bob past away on 10/04/07 aged 59.
Bob joined the fire service in 1975 serving at Winchester where he became the Officer In Charge of the watch in 1986. He moved to Eastleigh in 1991 into fire safety where he became Station Officer In Charge of fire safety at Winchester in 1999 before retiring on 12/01/02.

He was the recipient of the Long Service and Conduct Medal. During his time at Winchester he attended many incidents one of which was the fire at the River Park leisure Centre.
Bob was a friend to all those that worked with him and our thoughts go to his family, Wife Lin and Children Alec and Amanda and their families.
