WARD Elizabeth (Bet) peacefully at home on 8th April 2008, aged 86. Like a flickering candle, you shone so bright,
You gave so much love, as the candle gives light. As the candle and flame depend on each other,
So the family depends on the love of its Mother. In the family body, you were its heart,
But how can it function, now we're torn apart. From your daughters and sons, to their
husband and wives,
You brought so much light into all of our lives. Your grandchildren, their children and their children too, Each one had their place in the heart for you. Now the light on our candle has
flickered and died,
And we are just left with darkness inside. As we all keep our special memories in view,
We send love and our thanks, for a
Mother like you. Please try to think of us now and then,
