SALTER. William passed away peacefully on Friday 23rd January, aged 90. Dearly loved father of John and father-in-law to Adele and beloved brother to Bessie. Known affectionately as "Pop" by his many students and colleagues at Barton Peveril College, Eastleigh until his retirement in 1975. Funeral service at Christchurch, Winchester at 2 p.m. on Tuesday 3rd February followed by cremation at Basingstoke. Family flowers only, but donations if desired, to Nursling and Rownhams P.C.C c/o Jno Steel & Son, Chesil House, 6 Chesil Street, Winchester, SO23 0HU.
