TV PRESENTER and writer Loyd Grossman will be in Winchester next month to promote Heritage Open Days.

Mr Grossman will be interviewed by Rose Burns, city councillor and criminal barrister, at the Guildhall on Wednesday, September 7, at 7.30pm.

American-born Mr Grossman has lived in the UK since 1975 and has presented many TV programmes, from Through the Keyhole and MasterChef to Loyd on Location and History of British Sculpture.

His lifelong interest in history, the arts and heritage has involved him in a number of organisations, including patron of Heritage Open Days.

Tickets: £10 plus 75p per ticket booking fee, unreserved seating.

The Heritage Open Days on September 8-10 will see 40 openings and events in Winchester.

The City of Winchester Trust is staging an art exhibition at the Heritage Centre on Upper Brook Street from Thursday, September 8, to Saturday, September 10, from 10am to 4 pm (free admission).
