WORKS are underway at a Winchester college seeing a new £1 million major construction take form.
The new facilities at Peter Symonds College will include a new classroom and study block designed by Chichester firm HNW Architects.
The modern two-storey steel-framed building is expected to be finished by June 2015.
Grahame Pettit, managing director of Fareham-based Amiri Construction, said they will be implementing a full constructor programme limiting access.
Dave Cartwright, vice principal at Peter Symonds College, said: “We are looking forward to adding this spacious, bright study space to the college’s existing facilities.”
