Hampshire Chronicle: Part of the Walthamstow Tapestry Part of the Walthamstow Tapestry

TIME is running out to see The Walthamstow Tapestry by renowned artist Grayson Perry at Winchester Discovery Centre.

The tapestry by the Turner Prize-winning artist is on display in the upstairs gallery until Sunday July 6.

Charting man’s passage from birth to death, and the commercial brands he will meet, the artwork is inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry and batik fabrics from Malaysia.
