WINCHESTER City Council is set to host another course of cookery lessons aimed at older men.
The six-week Community Cookery Skills classes, aimed at men aged 55 and above, have been funded by the Public Health Funding grant from Hampshire County Council.
They will start from Monday (June 9) to Monday (July 14) at the Colden Common Community Centre on St Vigor Way, between 11.30am-1.30pm, and refreshments will be provided afterwards.
The aim is to help show how to cook a range of simple meals from start to finish as well as provide information on how to shop, hygiene and storage and the importance of healthy eating. The course costs £1 per session and all ingredients are provided.
