MARWELL Zoo is giving people the chance to see some of the world’s most exotic animals in the dark.

The park is set to host Party in the Park where children and their parents can see their favourite animals at sunset, meet the keepers and enjoy a range of presentations and entertainment from special guests.

There will be inflatable toys, a bouncy castle and a bungee run as well as the zoo’s own Rise of the Dinosaurs event celebrating all prehistoric creatures.

Events manager, Becky Glenister, said: “This will be the third year we have held this event and this year will be bigger and better than ever before.

“To keep the party swinging, we have incredible performances and entertainment, from costumed stilt walkers to fire juggling, live music and comedy street theatre.

“Don’t miss out on our early bird offer ending on May 16 where visitors can get 20 per cent off the ticket price and annual members receive 40 per cent off.”

This year’s event takes place between June 13-July 5 from 6.30pm-9.30pm.

Food outlets will be serving a range of meals around the zoo and Wickham wines will be offering samples of local wine to guests over the age of 18.

Tickets cost £16 for adults, £12 for children (three-16) and those under three are free. Tickets are available in advance only at marwell.org.uk/party/booking.asp.
