CHILDREN and staff at a Hampshire nursery enjoyed a day of fictional dress-up last week all in aid of charity.
Pre-schoolers and teachers at Lanterns Nursery and Children’s Centre in Bereweeke, spent the day as their favourite nursery rhyme character to raise money for the i-Can speech and language charity.
On Wednesday (February 12) children sported painted faces, capes, dresses and even playing cards to raise funds for their selected charity.
Around 40 per cent of the nursery children have special needs.
