BOTLEY teenager Edward Goddard has been fined for poaching.

Goddard, 18, of Winchester Street, entered Manor Farm, Bramdean, near Alresford, with a catapult and stones at night on December 12 with the intention of taking game.

Magistrates in Basingstoke fined him £165 and ordered he pay a £20 victim surcharge and costs of £120. The catapult was forfeited.
