Hampshire residents urged to switch providers to reduce energy costs
RESIDENTS across the district are being urged to ‘Switch Hampshire’ at part of an ongoing scheme to reduce energy costs.
The county council is continuing to promote the scheme with other local authorities aimed at domestic consumers which could result in lower household gas and electricity bills.
The scheme offers people the chance to get their gas and/or electricity at cheaper rates than if they bought either service individually.
The deadline for registration closes on February 17.
Anyone interested can find out more information at hants.gov.uk/switch or call 01962 846 828. It is free to register and does not commit anyone to changing their.
Switch Hampshire will contact those who have registered about the best energy tariffs available and will manage everything for them if they do make the decision to switch.
