The threat of rain did not dampen spirits in Winchester at the weekend.
Hundreds of dancers gathered in the city centre on Saturday, May 18, to celebrate Mayfest, the city's traditional folk event.
Visitors to the city were treated to free performances from 30 Morris, clog, and Appalachian groups.

They performed around the city centre, in St Maurice's Covert, outside the Cathedral, the Buttercross and the Great Hall.
At 2pm, the public were invited to give the moves a go themselves during a community dance which was hosted by the Winchester Morris Men.
There was also a programme of folk music showcased in St Lawrence's Church from 10am to 3pm.
