MORE than £1,000 has been raise as part of a charity plant sale.
The sale was held by Jo Morgan in Hyde to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK.

A wide variety of plants were on sale.
Around £1,010 were raised from both local residents, passers-by and some park runners.
Barbara Anderson, press officer for the charity, said that the Muscular Dystrophy UK team was very happy with the result.
