ROMSEY Operatic and Dramatic Society's next production uses physical theatre techniques to portray the story of love in its many forms.
Things I Know To Be True by Andrew Bovell is opening at The Plaza on Tuesday, May 7.
The play is strongly influenced by the theatre company Frantic Assembly’s distinctive creative approach to contemporary physical theatre. Throughout the rehearsal process, this involves a focus on using movement to express emotions and convey an extension of the storytelling.

Director Harry Andreou said: “Throughout the rehearsal process, we focused on using movement to express emotions and convey an extension of the storytelling. This allowed us to create a visceral and immersive experience for both the cast and the audience, inviting you to feel every moment.
“Working with a cast of six incredibly talented individuals has been an absolute joy. Each member brought their unique perspective and interpretation to their roles, contributing to the rich tapestry of our storytelling. Together, we explored the complexities of the characters' relationships, delving into their vulnerabilities and strengths to breathe life into the narrative.”
This play will be the last on its main stage until November as the extensive stagehouse build will begin later this month. The play opens on Tuesday, May 7 running each night at 7.30pm until Saturday, May 11.
